A Phytosanitary Certificate is required for most international seed orders. A mandatory charge of $50.00 is the cost of obtaining this certificate.
Most international seed orders cannot be shipped without this Phytosanitary Certificate.
Please check you can import the seeds you are ordering with your local Customs or Ministry of Agriculture prior to ordering. All seed ordered will be sent for testing, if it cannot be imported into your country the seed will not be sent with your order, you will be charged for the seed.
This means the seeds have been officially inspected in the country of dispatch, helping to guard against the spread of harmful diseases and pests. This will then satisfy the plant health requirements of the Country to which the seeds are to be imported into. One certificate required per order to one address.
Whether it is a small order or large order for seeds I would recommend the purchase of a phytosanitary certificate as it will guarantee a safe passage through customs. If a phytosanitary certificate is not purchased seeds will be sent at your risk, there will be no comeback if the seeds are confiscated by customs
